Am i a good candidate for an OTA antenna?

Hi

I will be moving to an apartment on the 7th floor (highest floor) and i will have a balcony facing east-south-east. I am moving into the Notre dame de Grace area in Montreal, Quebec. We seem to be the highest building in the neighbourhood so no tree or building obstructions. I am only connecting it to one tv and can install the satellite on my balcony (or maybe the rooftop)

according to the website, am i a good candidate for an OTA antenna? and if so, what kind? i would like to get channels such as FOX and ABC if possible (ofcourse ontop of CTV and CBC and all those Montreal channels), but those seem to be further range.

I would appreciate any advice

A Simple reception situation.

Many USA and Canada Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels will be received.

The best place to install a AntennasDirect , ClearStream 2 Complete Uhf/Vhf antenna is Out on the wall of the balcony that is Away From The Building so the CS2 Complete antenna can receive more signal that is not disrupted by the building , at the front and back of the antenna.

Aim the CS2 Complete antenna at about 170 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antenna , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

The Tv Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some Digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select , 'Air Channels' ~ 'Antenna Channels'.

Scan for channels.
