Question Help! Am I S.O.L.

Okay, I'm way out in the middle of nowhere. Actually, about 30 miles outside of the middle of nowhere.

Do I have any hope of receiving any usable signals?
Here's the linky: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda61f9b68b29

(I would ask my neighbors if I had any nearby.)

The tvfool radar plot and channel list you have provide is not showing any antenna height feet above ground.

Do not delete the radar plot and channel list that is not showing any antenna height above ground.

To see if signal strength improves at higher antenna heights.

Make 3 more tvfool radar plots / channel lists at.

10 feet above ground.

25 feet above ground.

40 feet above ground.

That does look a little better when the antenna is not sitting on the ground.
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1ddac04939f634 (25 ft)
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda61f9b68b29 (40 ft)

Any specific antenna (model) recommendations?

As always - trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , produce the negative effects of , absorbing , multi-path/reflecting , blocking , Digital broadcast Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and house.

The tvfool report shows Your Location has 1 and 2 Edge Path obstructions = hills/mountains.

It is best to install CM4228HD antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind including your own roof and house.

______

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some Digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select , 'Air Channels' ~ 'Antenna Channels'.

And scan for channels.
