Do I need a rotator?

Hi there,

I'm going OTA soon with a winegard 7698 and a preamp (not sure which of those yet), but now I need to know whether I should get a rotator. How do I know whether I need one or not? I'm in Northern Colorado and will primarily be trying to reach Denver channels. Here is my report:

I really don't even know what a rotator is or it's purpose, so any advice on this would be helpful. Thank you!

A rotor connects between 2 antenna masts and is made to be able to turn the direction of the antenna. Most people will tell you not to get one because you will have to rescan your tv every time you change the antenna position. The prefered method is usually to have a whole second antenna and cable into your house on an a/b switch. I'm new to this and there are alot of more experiance people on this site.

A antenna rotator is not required for reception of the Denver Digital Tv stations.

Thank you! I saw one was not recommended in my old thread, but the guys at Solid Signal indicated I might need one, so I thought I would double check.
