The 4228 is a UHF antenna & while it can sometimes do OK on VHF, it is purely incidental & very unpredicatable.

Receiving the weak CHCH signal reliably will require a real VHF antenna like the Antennacraft Y5-7-13 or Winegard YA-1713.

You have 15 stations that are line-of-sight (LOS). However, they are all UHF as is every other station--both Canadian and US--that you can expect to receive. My first suggestion is to check the listed stations after you redo this radar plot with your exact address. I have to wonder--do you have a stand of trees or some other local obstruction blocking your antenna?

Tv Antennas and Reception

It looks like musky has many other past posts on this same reception situation. If this is a different reception situation or the same reception situation it is time to make a new radar plot.

If there is no radar chart for this different reception situation , then need to make a radar chart with exact address and expexted antenna height. http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=4 . Is this a , house , condo , apt. , mobile home , motor home , or etc ?? How many Tv's are/will be connected??

You are going to have to re-scan almost every day for the next two weeks as more Canadian stations make the transition from analog to digital. The transition will be complete shortly, but expect that some stations will straggle and may miss the August 31 deadline.
