So I raised the antenna to about 20ft off the roof. It actually took bit more re mounting and securing, re-running a new wire, Grounding things properly, etc.. Now with the Antenna pointed, slightly off center, at the station I get roughly an 80% signal and all stays green. However I still lose it off and on for short periods of time, But it's enough that it can be watched most times. I have my other antenna at the bottom of the pole pointing at the other stations. I ended running a separate wire and have a A/B switch connected to them. I'm glad it worked, because I am out of money for a while on this, lol. Fortunately DirecTV actually provided me with all the wire, and the grounding blocks, LOL.

We would like to thank everyone. Especially you Rabbit73, The amount of knowledge and help you provided was amazing, And we really greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for the report with the good news and for your kind words. I'm glad that you were able to improve the reception of KCKS enough to make your grandfather happy.

It was a tough reception problem, but you got it to work.

Well done!

Best regards,
rabbit
