Plastic Mast

I have a CM 4221HD and plan to mount it on the coner of my chimney. Is there any reason I can't use grey plastic conduit for a mast?

TV Antennas and Reception

The plastic mast is fine. Don't want it to long , the plastic tends to bend , then the antenna is tilted at odd angles , makes it look goofy.

It could break. The heat from the furnace could melt the plastic.

TV Antennas and Reception

Some of reasons that Tv antennas have a bad image is poor installations. Tv antennas hanging over side ways , Tv antennas fallen over and laying on the roof or hanging off the edge of the roof for months and months and years at a time. Tv antennas with broken metal rods swinging in the wind or the broken antenna wire swinging in the wind. Guy wires running every which way , tied to trees , dangling over the edge of the roof and tied to a window awning. Tv antennas in all manner of odd angles and pointed in wrong directions. Tv antennas pointed straight up at sky or pointed down at the ground.
