outdoor ant advice

Hi all. We live in a rural town in Pa and I have cancelled Dish over a year ago. We are using a Roku3 and so far we have been rather happy with it. I do miss live network tv on occasion and have been wanting to put an outdoor antenna on the roof to pull in as many networks as possible. Judging from the report I got, it looks as though we'll get some channels but not a lot with good reliability. I've also read that the reports can be conservative, so I'm hoping that we do in fact receive more than 3-4 channels with good reliability.
I would like some advice on an antenna. Maybe a certain model? I don't want to spend tons of money on one if I'm buying something that won't increase my odds of picking up more channels, yet I don't want to buy a cheap one and find out after the fact that had I spent a little more, we could pick up a few more channels. Anyhoo... I'd like some models to look at and maybe a link if you have... Thanks all.
