Antenna Reccomendation?

Here's my report. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...9038b3a7a7189b

Looking to supplement my IPTV with a couple of local channels. Only interested in CBOT-DT (CBC) and CJOH-DT (CTV).

Would an indoor window antenna work or should I get an attic antenna?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hello again Styx555,

I see from the height you’ve noted in the linked TVFool that you’re going to pursue mounting an antenna higher than mentioned in your other thread from recent days:

I stand by my thoughts there of either the (older model) ClearStream 2V or latest vintage ClearStream 2MAX.

Cheers!

So I decided that I am only going to have 1 tv connected to satellite, and therefore bought an indoor antenna (flat window type). Upon connection, I am able to get the following channels (4.1, 6.1, 11.1, 14.1, 24.1, 30.1, 40.1, 42.1, 43.1, 60.1, 65.1). However, the channel i want the most is 13.1. Any advice on how to get this? The antenna is facing East and is on the main floor window with minimal obstruction.

Thanks

Facing the flat antenna towards the east should give you most of the channels to the southeast (those at 136 degrees). Channel 13.1 (CTV) is with the group of stations to the north (at 350 degrees), meaning that your east-facing flat antenna is trying to pick it up from the side (which is difficult). I recommend experimenting. Try facing your antenna towards the south-southeast (which is also the north-northwest since it is a flat panel). Also try it at different points in the room and at different heights.
