Tv Reception.

The point I am making is that some of the Tv transmissions are weak.

Not that they are weak and can not be received.

The point is that the antenna needs to be up high in the clear to get good signal reception.
Not in the attic where reception will be reduced.

And Yes for testing , some one can get up on the roof and hold the antenna.

Or just stand a tripod antenna mount on the roof to mount the antenna on while testing reception.

Here is a picture of a tripod antenna mount , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html.

Or put a chair up the roof and put the antenna on the chair for testing reception.

Try , http://www.angieslist.com , or , http://www.servicemagic.com. for antenna installers.

would any extra equipment be needed besides the clear stream 2 antenna, the antennas direct CPA=19 preamp, and the 30 foot of coaxial cable if I want to try to pick up the channels on more than 1 TV set.

Tv Reception.

The Tv's Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

If the Tv's are older Tv's that do not have a , Digital Broadcast Tv Tuner , then a converter box is required to receive the Digital channels on older Tv's.

Walmart , RCA Digital Tv converter box , model number , DTA800B1 .
