I had my doubts....

Well I slap together an eight 'v' element antenna to receive digital channels from about 40 miles away. To my surprise it works very well.
I can scan for channels at different times, (depending on weather, wind and other factors) and get up to 29 channels FREE.
I stopped my DIRECT TV and did not have any channels so I got on TV FOOL and discovered what HD channels I could receive in my area. Then got on Youtube for instructions to make antenna to get them and VOILE. I made the antenna for about six bucks.

That's awesome... thanks for the encouraging report.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
