For reception of the Canada Tv stations/channels and the American Tv stations/channels.

Install a Winegard HD7696P antenna with a Winegard AP8700 preamp above the roof aimed at about 127 degree magnetic compass.
Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Here are some places to buy antennas and ect. , http://www.saveandreplay.com , http://www.trentondistributors.com , http://www.amazon.ca , http://www.canadapost.ca/shopper , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.winegarddirect.com.

The Tv Must Scan for the Broadcast Television Channels sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Do Not scan for cable tv channels.

For this reception situation this is the least that can be recommended for reliable reception.

I was going to recommend a 2 antenna installation , one for Canada and one for American.

You could do without the AP8700 preamp at this time. WPXJ-DT ION is Very Weak signal strength.
The AP8700 preamp is mainly for reliable reception of WPXJ-DT ION. If WPXJ-DT is not received reliably with out the preamp , you could add the preamp later.

Here are some examples of antenna mounts , The Ronard mounts are High Dollar , you can search on the internet and find the same type and kind of antenna mounts for less money. http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com.

Or you can make up your own antenna mount. Make sure the mount is strong and secure so the antenna will not fall and break. Reason: the antenna cost is a few more dollars , then a few.

I Strongly Recommend use the HD7696P antenna , the HD7696P antenna is the best antenna for your reception situation.

Do Not get a , HD7694P , HD7695P , HD7697P , HD7698P. And I do not recommend any other type or kind of antenna.
