This is a case where your Tvfool analysis must be done with pinpoint precision. If you used your street address to create your initial plot, Google's geo-coding may not be accurate enough. Use the procedure in this post (
http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=14508) to accurately place the antenna on the eastern-most point on either your home, garage, or property where you would be willing to place an antenna, run a new plot, and post that new link.
While you're in that satellite view, click on the check box to turn on the lines so as to show you the direction to your local transmitters. They are on outcropping about 2.7 miles to your southeast across the valley overlooking the intersection of I80/I84. Then, walk out in your yard and see if you can find a line of sight around the hill that has that big house on it. However, if Google was wrong about your location and that big house on the hill is yours, reception should be easy. But, if, you're behind that hill
at all with your antenna, those ultra-low power transmitters probably can't get a signal into the shadowed area almost anywhere behind the hill.
BTW, don't forget that there are two prerequisites regarding your TV set: 1) It MUST have a digital tuner and 2) You MUST properly program the TV to use an antenna (see owner's manual) otherwise you will get absolutely nothing.
