Looking for advise/options

Hey everyone.

Recently cut the cord. I am south of Chicago and using a Yagi (Xtreme Signal HDB91X) I purchased a few years ago. This is installed in my attic, and it is doubtful that I would go on the roof as I am generally happy. I receive 74 channels.

The only real issue I have is with CBS. 2.1 / (real 12). It comes in weak and freaks out a few times an hour. My signal meter on the TV shows it as the weakest station by far, 2 bars out of 10 and 17-20db on the SNR meter. Is there anyway to DIY or purchase an antenna tuned specifically to this channel and then use a combiner to add it? If there is a DIY I am more than willing to take it on, just needs some plans for it tuned to this channel.

I should add that I would also be willing to purchase a new antenna if we are confident that I can do better in the current circumstance.

Thanks in Advance,
Chris

Hi, Chris:

Your HDB91X is a UHF antenna for real channels 14-51. You need an antenna for VHF-High real channels 7-13. Combine it with your UHF antenna with a UVSJ which is a UHF VHF combiner.

Rabbit73 is right on target.

Best bang for the buck VHF antenna is this one. Bought one on a whim & am impressed with it's performance. Well constructed & 75 ohm ready to boot.
