Surrounded by many tall trees

We are having trouble receiving any channels at this time. We have tried numerous options and are getting tired climbing on the roof to experiment. We live in the woods and are surrounded by many tall trees. We currently have a roof mounted antenna, I believe it would be considered a medium size multi-directional antenna. We also have a booster/amplifier near the base of the antenna pole which is on a 16ft pole on our one story roof, so the antenna is about 30 to 35ft above the ground. We would really like to get the major channels. ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and PBS. We had a rotate-or mounted on the pole that is no longer working and are considering getting a new one but I wanted to check with your experts before I spent any more money on our system. I would greatly appreciate any information that might help our situation. Thank youhttp://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...9900fdf3e64780

Thank you for your reply and I am sorry if I am not entering the correct info. I know as much about computers as I do antennas. I will try this again with the radar report and hope it works this time. The trees are about 40 feet from the house in all directions and we will have one tv hooked up. This is the address given the last time I tried the map. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...9900d4de169b3d

Tv Reception.

Based on the provided tvfool radar plot report and channel list.

The receivable Tv stations/channels to the north east are UHF Tv channels.

Install a UHF Tv antenna.

Aim a Winegard HD9095P UHF antenna with a antennas direct CPA-19 preamp at about 57 degree magnetic compass.

Thats the weakest signal strength Tv station WFUP channel 45 FOX , that is in between the stronger Tv stations on either side.

For 1 Tv connected use no splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a ,
HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a ,
HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

The HFS splitter pass power from the power supply/power injector from inside the house to the actual preamplifier mounted close to the antenna.

http://www.hollandelectronics.com , and also at , http://www.solidsignal.com

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Most likely adjustments will be made. , the Final antenna height and Final aim direction.
For best reception.

I do not think a antenna rotator will be required.

IF a antenna rotator is required , CM9521A.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a great job of reducing or blocking Tv reception.

Mount the antenna where there is the least amount objects in the way of reception of a span from 10 degree magnetic compass to 90 degree magnetic compass.

Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.winegarddirect.com , http://www.amazon.com.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for Digital Broadcast Tv Channels sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

For your consideration here are some other antenna mounts.

http://www.ronard.com/Tripods%200703/4712.html , http://www.ronard.com.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box.

Here is a light weight aluminum , lay over tower , do antenna installation and adjustments , standing on the ground.
