Signal loss primarily at night?

Here is my report
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...1dda914fa45935

My setup is a Winegard HD9095P aimed at about 235 degrees with a Winegard HDP-269 preamp. I have 4 TV's and am running the Boxee DSM-382 as my TV Tuner.

I receive 38 channels, several which I seem to loose signal at night. I understand weather plays a factor in the signal and reception, but wondering what is causing this loss with a clear sky?

Lastly, my antenna is eve mounted with a 5' mast, approximately 3.5' above my roof peak. If I increased the mast height to 10' (of course properly braced) would it help with reception or gaining any additional channels? Thank you.
