Best antenna fir my area with signal map

Hello all,
I am new here and completely illiterate to the digital TV antenna world.
I recently purchased an RCA ANT751 and a Mediasonic HW-150 PVR Homeworks Digital TV converter.
I installed the antenna on my roof, approximately 20 feet off the ground. The Mediasonic unit must have been defective from the manufacturer.
I was not able to get any image or even a menu with the Mediasonic.
I purchased an RCA DTA800B1 digital converter and it magically worked perfect.
It appears to be a very basic converter but works well. Nice clear picture and audio.
I received 7 channels with no antennae adjustment.
I was able to receive most of the major networks, NBC,ABC,FOX, PBS and some other channels like Bounce and Retro.
I can tune in to CBS if I adjust the antenna toward that towers direction, but i loose the other channels.
Are there any suggestions on an antenna that may capture the signal from multiple towers.
Perhaps the Winegard HD7694P High Definition VHF/UHF Antenna or the Antennas Direct DB4E Antenna.
I have no clue if I need UHF or VHF or both.

Then the location is a Simple reception situation.

No antenna rotator required.

Above the Peak of the Roof install a , Antennas Direct , DB8e , Current UHF channels 14 thru 51 antenna.

Aim 1 panel at about 275 degree magnetic compass direction.

Aim the other panel at about 65 degree magnetic compass direction.

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antennas , do not trust a , cell phone , tablet and etc. compass.

As always the antennas aim can be adjusted for best reception.

Most Digital Tv's have a , Signal Strength Meter , and some Digital Tv's also have a , Signal Quality Meter .

Y10-7-13 VHF high band channels 7 thru 13 antenna , about 3 feet below the DB8e antenna on the same antenna mast/pipe.

Aim the Y10-7-13 antenna at about , 41 degree magnetic compass direction.

Home Depot has 10 foot - 6 inch length , 1 and 3/8 inch diameter , TOP RAIL , chain link fence , PIPE , that makes good antenna mast/pipe , the cost is low at about 12 dollars.

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative Effect on Broadcast Tv Reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and building.

Some and not all Negative Effects are.

Absorbing and Blocking Reception.

Multi-Path Reflecting Tv Signals Bouncing All Around.

The Best Practice for Reliable Reception is to install the antennas at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and building.

The directions of reception are , South West , West , North West , East , North East.

Realistically, all you need is UHF.
I would suggest an Antennas Direct DB8e
Aim one panel at about magnetic 250 degrees & the other at about magnetic 315 degrees.

You should pick up all the major networks & some of the outliers. Probbably the 2 at 70 degrees off the back.

Obviously trees, bulidings & other minutae could affect things, but that's where I would start.
Other, more experienced members may also offer other options

If www.rabbitears.info is accurate about the stations near you, many of the LP/Translators are not on the air. http://www.rabbitears.info/market.ph...callsign=w22dq That does not impact your ability to get the major networks, you have an ABC, a NBC, a CBS (WILM-LD), a FOX and a PBS; CW is on WWAY (TV fool only shows the channel’s main affiliation). You also have various minor networks.

Unless you want out of market stations, all you need is UHF. If you want out of market football (depending on where the NFL splits markets), a Y10-7-13 to go after WBTW (CBS) on 13 or WNCT (CBS) on 10 may make sense.

On paper, that is a very good recommendation. If you look at page 4 of https://www.antennasdirect.com/cmss_...s/DB8E-TDS.pdf the aim suggested by tonyp063 gives you 3 lobes for strong reception. One will cover the transmitters at 245 true, one will cover the transmitters at 308 true, and one may catch WFXB CH18 and WPDE CH16 between the other two. (The polar plot does not show much back lobe to get the signal at 56 real, but you would have to see what happens with the actual antenna.) Worst case, point both panels at 245 true and call it a day.
