No signal from one channel

I recently connected an ez-hd outdoor antenna to my digital converter box. I am now receiving all my locals but one. I have rescanned for channels and changed the direction the antenna is pointing with no luck. The channel is KTVE-10. Here is what seems odd to me. I have another TV in another room connected to a TERK indoor antenna and it is receiving this station with a signal strength of 40. I have tried to get a signal with the Terk antenna on the first TV but it still shows no signal. The ez-hd outdoor antenna is not very high above my roof. Do you think raising it will help? I talked with one person who says most of my stations are transmitting from the south but KTVE is from the north but changing the antenna direction has not helped. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks. Link: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...a36221634282b8

Tv Reception

KTVE , Virtual Channel 10 is Real Channel UHF 27. . Try separating the tuner and the Tv. Try moving both the tuner and the tv to a different location. Moving away from interference is reason. Try switching off any and all interference generators , any electrical or electronic device can be a interference generator. . Might be a defective convertor box. . What is the brand and model number of converter box ?

If you look at your report, then you can see that KTVE does come from almost due north.

Let's try a hunch: do you get KETZ 12.1? It's real RF channel is 10, so maybe your TV is getting confused? It shouldn't, but one never knows.

Questions:

What channels do you get?
What model Terk antenna do you have?
Is the Terk amplified?
Do you have a pre-amp in line with the outdoor antenna?

You antenna is roughly the equivalent of the RCA ANT-751, which should work for your local stations. The questions above are to help trouble-shoot your setup.

If you want to see is additional antenna height will help you, re-do your TVFool analysis via the "start MAPS" option. Be sure the receive marker is pointing at your location (drag it to the right place, if necessary), then enter different antenna heights in the box below the map. Every time you click away from that box, the reception predictions will update. Pay attention to the NM values to see if they get larger (a sign of stinger signals.)
