help picking an antenna

Good evening everyone. I was wondering if anyone could help me decide on an antenna. I am currently using a 50 year old antenna in the peak of my attic. Most of the time I can pick up the major channels and other times I get pixel reception. I use a tablotv for my DVR it is currently a home run approximately about 30 feet antenna to tablo rg6 cable. It would be nice to split the feeds for the tablotv and one other TV. I have a cheap flat wall mount antenna for the second tv right now and can only pick up CBS up with it.
Here is my report that I ran http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...60ed04ca36b538

My roof is a single layer of asphalt, tar paper, and 1x6 planking.

Thank you all for the help.

The TV Fool data base is missing information so it will be
making a few assumptions. I do not see all your major
affiliates listed, so I assume they are all relatively close to you.
Any antenna works best outside. You definitely should consider
moving your antenna outdoors. You have transmitters coming
to you from multiple directions. Under the circumstances, I
would recommend the Clearstream 2Max. It should do a good
job for you for most of your channels. If you do mount outside,
do not forget to ground your system. Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forum, s996kingsm

TVFool is using a new database for the reports that has a lot of errors. This causes channels to be missing from reports. The datecode of the new database is 201711011134, which you can see on your report. In your case, KOTV CBS real channel 45, virtual channel 6.1, is missing from your report.
http://www.rabbitears.info/market.ph...&callsign=KOTV

The KOTV channel 45 transmitter will be moving to channel 26 because of the Repack by the FCC which will shrink UHF TV to 14-36. The channels above that will be given to the cellular companies.

KOTV shows on a report by RabbitEars

and on a report from the FCC DTV map site

Can you tell us more about your antenna, and maybe show us a photo of it?

If you want to try another antenna in the attic, I suggest a Winegard HD7694P aimed at about 115 degrees magnetic. Hopefully, there aren't too many trees in the signal path; trees block TV signals.

If the signals are too weak in the attic, add a preamp. If they are still too weak, you will have to mount the antenna outside.
