Results for Pittsford NY

My address is 10 Ridgeview Court, Pittsford, NY 14534 and the antenna is 30 feet above ground level. I am tucked behind a small hill but 30 feet seems to get over it. Picture attached

WXXI-TV has a virtual channel of 21.1
WBGT-TV has a virtual channel of 46.1 and is the Myn network

My TiVo Bolt box gives me the following signal strengths:
WROC-TV 94
WXXI-TV 100
WHEC-TV 97
WHAM-TV 99
WUHF-DT 100
WBGT-CD 62
WPXJ-TV 75

I also get
W42CO-D 42 42.1 TCT with a signal strength of 85

The TiVo box tells me that I am receiving CIOCDT28 28 28.1 with a signal strength of 100, but its on top of WUHF-TV on 28, and there isn't a picture, so I don't know what the story is there.

I seem to get
WGCE-TV 25 6.1
WCNY-DT 25 24.1
CBCFTDT 25 25.1
but the signals jump from 0 to around 33 on the meter and the channels go in and out of lock.
The same can be said for
WTVH-TV 37 5.1 and
CFMT-DT 47 47.1

I was receiving WSTM-DT 24 3.1 NBC from Syracuse but the antenna was moving to much so I lowered it 2 feet and now I don't get that station. Interesting because it was being received through the back of the antenna.

Thanx Doug

Hi Doug,

Reading your post, I'm not really sure what your question is.
Having lived in W.N.Y., I can tell you it is very unlikely you
are receiving any Canadian stations. Areas Northwest of
Rochester, near the lake, can get a very few stations but other
wise, you might get Buffalo or Syracuse stations. From what
I've seen from other posts on this and other sites, I would
not have much faith in Tivo tuners.... Not familiar with CIOC
television, did you mean CICO??? From my parents home
in Orchard Park, 14127, we could get most, if not all Toronto,
Hamilton, Kitchener, London and Paris Ontario stations plus
Erie, PA. On rare occasions, we got WROC, WHEC and WOKR.
Especially frustrating since Rochester was closer than all the
others. We could even get WHEN, CBS 5 from Syracuse before
CBLT moved from Rf 6 to Rf 5 around 1971.

Joe

I was trying to provide my results so that the TV signal analysis tool could be improved. I was just trying to be complete, no real question except maybe the channel 28 problem. And yes it is CICO-DT. I did have a longer response but when I hit submit post it ask me to login again, so here is a short answer.

Thanx for the tool, Doug
