I've looked at the FV-30BB/HD, the RCA ANT-751, the CM2016, the HD7000R. My worries with the 751, 2016 or the 7000R is that it may be too directional for the difference between the SF towers and the San Bruno towers?
Right now my mother has the white 'outdoor' antenna from monoprice mounted indoors, however, it does not pull Ch. 7 in very well (I don't think the monoprice outdoor one is suited for VHF). Not only that I'd like to stay away from an amplified antenna because of how close she is to the towers, or should I consider a low powered UHF/VHF multi-directional antenna? I've read about problems with power injectors failing on the Winegard SS2200 or 3000.
I can attic or outdoor mount (and of course indoor; the room has an east and north facing wall). House exterior is stucco, and to the east there is a hill with houses at the top; there is no line of sight to the towers. If there is any additional information needed, let me know.
