Need alittle help with OTA

To start.....

Nearest intersection Lawrence and kenilworth Hamilton Ontario

I currently got Toronto with 14 channels I'm in a building on the third floor roughly 24 feet up and looking to get buffalo is it possible if you need anymore info before saying yes or no let me know I'm using a digiwave ANT-5006 and I have a digiwave ANT-5011 and a digiwave ANT-0201 masthead diplexer for combining the two afterwards

The provided Tvfool report is not showing any antenna height above ground.

Do not delete the Tvfool report that is not showing any antenna height above ground.

Please make and post 2 more Tv fool reports.

At 25 and 40 feet antenna height above ground.

Also please use the Exact address to make the Tvfool reports.

What directions do windows face??

Its a Apartment Building facing North same with the balcony my Bedroom is facing north and my daughters is facing east Its 3 floors and then the roof is over top of me

And Closest intersection is Lawrence and Kenilworth in Hamilton

Yes you can Test the ANT-5006 and ANT-5011 with a combiner.

However the 2 antennas when connected together will have out of phase antenna cross talk that will most likely make reception worse with no way to adjust them to make reception better.

Also the power supply and amplifier situation of the 2 antennas will most likely cause problems.

The Canada Digital Broadcast Tv Stations/Channels are Strong Signal Strength and Easy to receive.

The USA Digital Broadcast Tv Stations/Channels are Weak Signal Strength and Not Easy to receive.

If you can install a antenna Above the Roof in such a manner that reception of the USA Tv stations are not , obstructed , impeded , blocked , by the , roof and building in the direction of , South East , North East , West.

Test reception of the USA Tv stations.

WNLO-DT , Real UHF channel 32 , CW.

WNED-DT , Real UHF channel 43 , PBS Networks.

WUTV-DT , Real UHF channel 14 , FOX.

Test reception with the , ANT-5006 and ANT-5011 , connected one at a time.

Aim the antenna at about 117 degree magnetic compass direction.

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antenna , do not trust a , cell phone , tablet and etc. compass.

Most Digital Tv's have a Signal Strength Meter and some Digital Tv's also have a Signal Quality Meter.

As a Test of reception.

A bigger antenna for better reception of the USA Tv stations is the.

Antennas Direct , DB8e , UHF channels 14 thru 51 antenna.

Install the DB8e antenna Above the Roof in such a manner that the roof and building are not , obstructing , impeding , blocking , reception in the directions of , South East , North East , West.

Aim the DB8e antenna at about 117 degree magnetic compass direction.

Can Test reception without and with a , Winegard , LNA-100 Boost antenna amplifier.

The following information is Important.

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative Effect on Broadcast Tv Reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your apartment building.

Some and not all Negative Effects are.

Absorbing and Blocking Reception.

Multi-Path Reflecting Tv Signals Bouncing All Around.

The Best Practice for Reliable Reception is to install a antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception.

Yes I took a compass to try and aim at 117 and when I do I am facing my wall of my bedroom and behind that is the escarpment if I was on the roof I can play alittle more and maybe get the signal if I really found a good spot but as far as on my balcony no its not going to work

besides Toronto and the US where else has more then 1 channel in my area that I can catch I heard london but that was ear say

Yes is Ok to Test reception out on your daughters East balcony.

The only thing is we've got a window shaker in the window so I'll have to do it in doors first and if it works I am going to have to ask the super if its ok to mount on the roof but thanks for the answer
