Hello I'm trying to get an NBC station in my area tvfool map here:[http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...6ae499ee5b78f] As you can see there are 2 NBC stations that are kinda close (by close I Mean far away...)The only NBC station that I get rarely is WPSD around 1 in the morning(you know that lucky night when the weather is just right and you get it),never have I got WMC.
What antenna should I get or should I build? Thank you for your help

You are maxed out with the home made antennas.

Time to move up.

The Current Broadcast Tv stations/channels in , USA , Canada , Mexico , are.

VHF low band channels 2 thru 6.

VHF high band channels 7 thru 13.

UHF band channels 14 thru 51.

Your location has channels in all three channel bands.

Most of the signal strengths at your location are Weak Signal Strength.

Concerning WMC-DT Real channel 5 NBC is , low signal strength , 2 edge path obstruction , and 66.2 miles away to the South West.
Low band channels are effected more by interference.
I can not say reception will be reliable even with a Big antenna.

Time for a BIG All Channel Antenna.

Above The Peak of the Roof in such a manner that reception is not impeded and blocked by the roof and house in the directions of , South West , South , South East.

Install a Winegard HD7084P All Channel antenna aimed at about 207 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

_____________________________________

Install a Winegard HDP-269 preamp.

_____________________________________

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a , HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a , HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. .

http://www.ronard.com.

Here are some strong and sturdy antenna mounts.

http://www.ronard.com/909911.html.
Use the 5 foot tripod antenna mount , ronard(911) .

http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html.
Use the , ronard(4560) eave antenna mount.

http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html.
Measure the chimney and use a.
ronard(2212) , ronard(2218) , ronard(2224) , chimney antenna mount.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal or buy from ronard.

______________________________________

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative effect on broadcast Tv reception and so do buildings including your own roof and house and other obstructions.

The Best Practice is to install the HD7084P antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions in the directions of reception including your own roof and house.

______________________________________

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some Digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select 'Air Channels' ~ 'Antenna Channels'.

Digital Tv Tuners can develop - Digital Glitches - that are not cleared out with simple channel scans.

Do Double Rescan , http://www.dtv.gov/rescan.html.
______________________________________

Many Digital Tv stations/channels will be received.

The Only Way to Know how many Tv stations/channels are received reliably is put the Big HD7084P antenna up high and see what happens.

WMC is VHF-Lo. The coathanger bowtie won't tune that. You could aim direct with an Antenna Craft Y526 connected with a UVSJ to your existing cable. But if you were to do that, maybe you'd be better off getting a full band antenna to improve all of your reception.

You can use the Big HD7084P antenna to Test reception of WPSD.

Aim the HD7084P antenna at about 17 degree magnetic compass direction.

Scan for channels.

Digital tuners can develop - Digital Glitches - that are not cleared out with simple channel scans.

Do a Double Rescan , http://www.dtv.gov/rescan.html.

If WPSD is reliable received.

Then install a Channel Master CM4228HD antenna aimed at about 17 degree magnetic compass direction.

Return the HD7084P antenna to the original aim direction at about 207 degree magnetic compass direction.

Install a Winegard CC7870 , Hybrid transformer coupled combiner.

And connect the HDP-269 preamp to the output of the combiner so that both antennas are amplified at the same time.

If you look at the chart you can see that WPSD is very weak at -2.6. I think for any chance at receiving it reliably you are going to have to mount a large antenna. A home brew antenna is fun to do but if it's not doing the job, it's not the antenna for the you.
