Antenna Help Needed

Hello!

First off here is my report http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...f1f03ad16fbf31

This antenna will be on the roof of a 2 story home. I will be taking down my directv dish and mounting it there, hopefully utilizing the same coax cables. This will be run to 4 televisions.

Any help with type of antenna, amp, etc would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

PA. DTV reception

If your dish is on the roof with a clear view to the SW, you could use the sat. mount and coax to install a Winegard HD7694 antenna aimed to the SW channels in your report. If there is more than one coax, be sure to identify it from the antenna to your point of distribution. Keep the ground block in the path, remove all other satellite splitters, and install a Channel Master 3414 distribution amplifier to feed your sets.

Thanks for the advice. Most of my channels are in the 40-60 mile range, will this antenna pick up that far? Also is it a multi-directional antenna? Most of my channels are out of the southwest, but there are a couple that come out of the north.

Thanks again for your help!

That is a directional antenna and should do fine. Any larger antenna would need a stronger mount. You can mount the 7694 on the satellite mount and add a pre-amp if you need more power, however the distribution amplifier should be all you need to supply enough signal to all sets for stable reception.
