Televes DATBoss MIX LR vs Winegard HD-8800 vs Channel Master CM-4228HD +AP-8275

Televes DATBoss MIX LR vs Winegard HD-8800 vs Channel Master CM-4228HD + Winegard AP-8275 Preamp

The DATBoss comes with an integrated preamplifier. It automatically adjusts the gain to optimum levels allowing the system to avoid any overloading.

Its maximum VHF gain is 28dB
And maximum UHF gains is 27 dB.

The Winegard AP-8275
UHF 29dB
VHF 28dB

Only my local transmitters will be used in this shootout.
Local transmitters Are at 60 degrees and range from 4.9 and 6.9 miles out.

One note. RF14 is a side lobe measurement. It is actually coming in from around 14 degrees in Virginia.

The local topography is steep with intervening mountain ranges.
All the transmitters are 1 and 2 edge.

The Spectrometer I will be using is a Televes H30D3
A Winegard LS-275C splitter is being used.
The HD-8200 is fitted with an original legacy CM-94444 balun.

The day was parly cloudy. Humid and in the mid 80's.
Antenna elevation is 31 1/2 feet

A couple of pictures of the antennas in play and the lay of the land of my transmitters.

The topographic cross sections are RF9 and RF28.

The following are traces I let generate.
The Sequence is DAT-8800-DAT-4228.
Notice it is marked out on the RF9 Trace for reference.
