I was looking at Ken Nist's hdtvprimer site where he was explaining why the net gain of an antenna may be less than the raw gain of an antenna. He stated that because of the complex impedances, there is a transmission line mismatch and some of the signal is reflected and re-radiated. I don't understand why but the raw and net gain plots of the CM4221 look the same to me but the plots of the CM4228 were different. Could be something in the CM4228 combiner plus the transmission line mismatch.
