TV fool lists WTXX-LP as a low power digital station operating on 34.1 in the Springfield Massachusetts market. This is incorrect and should be changed to a pending license, not yet in operation as of 7/10/2011.

TV fool also has a separate, second listing for WTXX-LP as a low power analog station operating on 34. This is the CORRECT information for the station.

The FCC materials are very confusing and it would be easy to make this mistake. The correct information comes from doing a search of the Springfield Massachusetts market in the FCC's CDBS database.

You can also search the FCC materials for FCC's letter denying WTXX's application to operate a digital low power station. The problem is potential interference with a station operating in Rhode Island.

The article stub for WTXX-LP on Wikipedia is correct.

I can personally confirm the above from many frustrating attempts to locate digital 34.1 with a Winegard HD9095P from a location shown as a very strong signal reception area for the phantom 34.1. WTXX-LP exists as the analog 34; it does not exist as the digital 34.1.
