Glad to hear you are able to watch B-Ball.

Rather than trying to make a marginal antenna better by adding an amplifier (a 'band-aid' fix).

Consider upgrading to a Winegard HD7694P (or lager in that series). That will give to the additional signal needed to overcome splitter loss, plus you will get an antenna with much better rejection of signals from the sides and rear which will improve the quality of the signal to the set.

The CM-3010 could be re-aimed to 82° if there is programing of interest to you there. An A/B switch would select the desired antenna.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
