As often happens with Tv reception in hill and mountain areas , the Tv signals 'Bend' a little downward as the the Tv signals travel across the hills and mountains.
The Tv signal strength - improves - a little , lower to the ground.
Even as low as 1 foot above the ground.
The effect is not evenly distributed and varies with height and location.
Try lowering and raising the YA1713 antenna up and down and change location.

As a Test of reception , disconnect the YA1713 from the Kitztech amplifier and connect a Channel Master CM4228HD UHF antenna aimed at about 262 degree magnetic compass direction.
The same antenna height and location situation applies.
If reliable reception happens for WQMY , then connect the CM4228HD antenna and the YA1713 antennas together with a UHF/VHF combiner.
A Antennas Direct , EU385CF-1s , combiner.
Connect the CM4228HD antenna to the UHF connection of the combiner.
Connect the YA1713 antenna to the VHF connection of the combiner.
And the remaining connection of the combiner connects to the Kitztech amplifier.

It is best to install the Antenna/s at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and house.

The Tv's Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.
Some Digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.
DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.
Go into the TV Setup Menu and select , 'Air Channels' / 'Antenna Channels'.
