Combining two antennas takes a bit of planning. Just joining the signals together will usually cause more reception problems. You can't just mix the two and expect to get the best of each. Tuners tend to struggle under those conditions. There are ways to do it right, but before you make it more complex, I'd proceed w/the single antenna and see what it can do for you. I have a similar split from two good tower locations, each about 30 miles out LOS. Reception has been fine. I just found the sweet spot in between, which isn't always the middle. My approach is to go slow and keep it simple. Too much complexity in the beginning may cause problems that you don't expect.
