CRTC Approvals for CKVU and CHNM

CRTC has approved two digital transmitters for CKVU, one for Vancouver and one for Victoria. The Vancouver transmitter will operate on channel 33 with an average effective radiated power (ERP) of 4,300 watts (maximum ERP of 8,300 watts with an effective height of antenna above average terrain (EHAAT) of 670 metres). The Victoria transmitter will operate on channel 27 with an ERP of 1,647 watts (maximum ERP of 2,750 watts with an EHAAT of 99.6 meters).
