Did you remove the reflector to allow for reception from the back? If not that may help improve rear reception, but may lower front side gain.

With a 60 degree beam width I have my 4bay aimed slightly off from the main tower directions and it helps pick up all those channels from the side. Similar to what you have done. The 8 bay has more gain but a much narrower beam width, so may not be what you want.
