Suggestion for suitable location of Amp’s power inserter
I received my ClearStream Complete VHF/UHF Antenna Combo Pack and CPA19 ClearStream Pre-Amplifier Kit yesterday. I am trying to figure out the best place to attach the power inserter for the amp.
The antenna will be installed on top of a wooden privacy fence pole in the backyard of my house. The splitter for living room and bed room TV will be in a box attached to the outside wall.
To get the best out of the pre amp, I am thinking of running 2 long coaxial cable (To receiver, To inserter) from the power inserter.
The inserter will be placed right below the amp with the antenna on the fence. Out of this 2 coaxial, one will go indoor to be used with power adapter. The other one coming from the power inserter will go to the splitter outside. The distance from the antenna to the power outlet inside the house is approximately 35 feet.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
