Help with reception in MI

Like many others I'm trying to cut the cord, and am looking for advice on component selection. My TVFool report is:

I would like to receive as many of the local (~35 mile radius) stations as possible. Since my HOA will have a hard time with a large external antenna, I intend on putting the antenna in the attic. Fortunately is large and tall, and should accept an antenna of any size. I assume I will need a preamp to overcome the signal loss due to placing the antenna in the attic and then running ~100 feet of coax to the basement. Since I want to hook the antenna directly into the existing coax in the house, will I need a distribution amplifier in the basement as well? The whole system will be driving three TVs when it is done.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
