Budget of $100 or thereabouts would be nice. I don't mind mounting it to the roof as there's an existing pole but it just needs to be sturdy enough to survive some occasional high winds.
So I saw some DIY antennas and decide to build a Single Bay Gray-Hoverman Antenna. I'm actually able to pick up a lot of channels including CBS. But KABC and KCAL have poor signals reception of 30 or less whereas the other channels are at 50-60.
