Sorry to hear about your antenna. Is the preamp still OK?

Will you be mounting the new antenna in the same location on the 15 foot pole?

I'm looking to get a new outdoor antenna again and hoping you can recommend one since the last one I had is already a few years of old technology and I am sure better ones are in market now.
The C2V is still current technology and suitable for your location if you can get it up in the air and in the clear. If you want to try something different you might consider the Winegard HD7694P. It has a little more gain, but has a narrower beamwidth which means it must be aimed at the transmitter; you can't "split-the-difference" between two directions.
