But seriously, thanks for the advice. I am going to try and get up on the roof and check things out tomorrow after work and see what I can find. If I am unable to attach an antenna to the building (going to contact the Super tomorrow, too), any other suggestions? I have been pointed to the DB2 and DB4 from AntennaDirect, with the notion that a flat panel antenna can be attached inside the apartment. Any input on that idea?
Also, aiming the compass at 0 degrees North, will that give me an accurate true north direction?
