I've got a Monster Power Home Theatre system surge protector, HTS 1000. I was not considering using this as an alternate to proper grounding outside. However, I only brought it up because of the fact that I noticed signal degradation when I ran my coax through it. I was only for that reason that I started to think about any and/or all intermediary devices causing signal loss when you run those devices between the coax up at the antenna and the final point where the coax meets the television.
