I would simply use the fixed trap(s), the goal being to reduce the amount of FM signals entering the amplifier. I would resist any temptation to try to use the TV antenna for FM reception in this case. It would be unusual to still have trouble with FM overload with two traps between the antenna and amplifier, though it would be nice to see your actual FMFR.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
