The CCS1843 would be a great choice.
Indoors is where you will find plenty of interfering signals generated by computers, appliances, motors, lighting, etc. You also have less desired signal... It all adds up to less reliable OTA TV reception.
It's always good to hear how a project turns out.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
