I am such a novice at this so please bear with me.

1. I can put an antenna either in the attic at about 10' or external at about 12'. Is the reception greatly influenced by inside or outside?

2. I cannot put an external antenna above the ridge of the roof (cannot be visable from the street). If I put it on the back of the house and point in the the direction of the towers the ridge is in the path.

3. I have quite a few trees in my neighborhood, but does it help to angle the antenna upwards vs being parallel with the ground?
