To me it would. Seems like most everything in the red is either a low power or translator station which generally means no HD programming. Since you will get all the major networks in the green & yellow shaded zones with a reasonably compact antenna, a larger one just doesn't make sense.

Forget the stations in the gray. Even if you get a whiff of them with a higher gain antenna, they wouldn't be reliable enough for regular viewing.

Pay no attention to the mileage ratings on the Winegard antennas. They are way overly conservative. The gain figures are most important when comparing antennas.
