This thread is for updates to FM transmitters, not TV transmitters.

Your tvfool report has CJNT listed correctly, with the real channel number 49 and the virtual channel number 62.1.

The real channel number is the actual RF channel number used by the transmitter now. The virtual channel number 62.1 is a holdover from analog days to maintain the identity of the station when it was on UHF channel 62.

The continuity is important for viewer convenience and for the advertising.

Yes, it is very confusing to all of us because it is the real channel number that determines which antenna to use for OTA reception. Sometimes the virtual channel number and the real channel number are the same, sometimes not. Often, there isn't a virtual number listed on the report.
