Other vendors offer MoCA compliant products.

Examples,

Channel Master CM-6001 & CM 6004 http://www.channelmasterstore.com/Ho...ters_s/101.htm

D-Link DXN-220 / DXN-221 http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutions/connect/moca

NetGear MCAB1001 http://www.netgear.com/service-provi...a/default.aspx

There is also a competing standard, HPNA which uses much lower frequencies. http://www.mocalliance.org/industry/...HFC%5B1%5D.pdf

NetSys would be one example of the HPNA capable product. http://www.netsys-direct.com/category_s/1513.htm

In theory, MoCA and HPNA could operate on the same cable, though they would not be able to exchange data with each other directly via an RF link, given the difference in frequencies and signal formats. The loss in coax is less at low frequencies, therefore HPNA devises are able to operate over much longer sections of coax.
