It sounds as if your previous location ( http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=9384) came together well using an attic mount.
If the new attic turns out to have similar characteristics, you can use the same antenna as before, the RCA ANT-751R. If you have difficulty from inside the attic, test reception outdoors.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
