To be fair, your TVFool report showed that your Detroit Fox affiliate is on VHF, too. That's what the real channel column is for.
Stay away from amplified antennas like the monoprice model. The HBU-22 would be an excellent choice for your situation. The RCA ANT-751 is also a model you can consider.
