Areas near Rolla are in a "desert" for reception. If you're favorably located, a very large 7-51 antenna or combo system with a good pre-amp and a rotor are your best bets.

You'll need to avoid or be above trees as they usually destroy very weak very UHF signals.

Very weak VHF signals will usually get clobbered by local electrical noise.
