My current plan is to try an antenna in the attic. I know, I know, but it's a new house and my wife wants to save a roof mounted for the last resort. If the antenna doesn't work, buy an amplifier. And then if that doesn't get the results I want, put it on the roof.
I'm currently looking at a DB8 antenna like
this one, or a Yagi type like
this one. Would you recommend either of these, something similar, or a different one altogether? Thanks!
