No, a small UHF capability has already been tried (ANT-751R). If you want to see the weaker signal from KDVR you need to move the antenna outside or use a high gain / directional solution.
In the end, the attic may not work for a given signal.

If the well is dry and you don't see rain on the horizon, you'll need to dig the hole deeper. (If the antenna can't get the job done, an amp won't fix it.)
