Tv Reception.

For best reception install a Winegard HD7082P antenna above the roof aimed at about 180 degree magnetic compass direction.

The HD7082P antenna is a Strong Heavy Duty antenna that will last a long time outside.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

The Tv transmissions are Strong at your location, try reception with No antenna amplifier.

Reason: An amplifier can make reception worse where there is strong signals and many reflections , like off of trees , the amplifier also amplifies the many signal reflections (multi path) and this causes the Tv tuner to Overload with Multi Path signals and bad reception or no reception is the result.

For 1 Tv connection use no splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a simple common 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a simple common 3 way splitter.

Replace all outside coax with new RG-6 coax.

Here are some Strong antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box.

Here are places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.winegarddirect.com , http://www.amazon.com.

As always trees and tree leaves do a great job of reducing or blocking reception.

Locate the antenna where there is the least amount or no trees in the way of reception to the , south east , south , south west.

The Tv's Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.
