a.) Not be up by the antenna or in the house?
b.) Should not be in series with the the mast ground wire ?

There were 2 on the shelf at walmart...an ANT751r in a long box and the ANT751e in a shorter...

Today it was rainy and cloudy... placed it on a ladder on the driveway. about 5 ft off...

Maybe try an amp or different amp on your current antenna? A separate VHF antenna and a combiner? Lots of things you can try based on your time.

I can go on the roof. I can put a up as high an antenna as I want...no neighbors. But nothing will get above the trees. Thats why I was going to wait for summer.
